A little recommendation for your weekend, a little rising star show called Jury Duty.
One courtroom, composed of 11 hired actors and one guy (Ronald) who thinks he’s in a documentary about being on jury duty. Chaos ensues.
What I love about this show is rather than taking the route of making Ronald the butt of every joke and pressing his buttons until he explodes, they make him the only sane person in the room most of the time, and create his own heroes journey throughout the show. It’s The Rehearsal if it was written by Parks and Rec’s writers room.
It’s fun, it’s low stakes, it’s a great way to spend your weekend. It’s all available on Amazon Prime’s free service, Freevee (lol kill me too many brands). Watch here, or just watch the trailer.
